Riverfront Parks Now is committed to sharing information about opportunities for the public to become involved with planning and decisions regarding our riverfront. As previously reported, the duPont Fund has embarked on a Riverfront Activation Plan working with a number of community task forces and stakeholder groups.
This is the first of three public meetings and we hope you can attend to learn about the project and share your vision.
From the Fund communications: “Jessie Ball duPont Fund and DVDL invite all Jacksonville residents, and others interested in what it will take to create programs and activities along the St. Johns River, to join an open public meeting.”
“The project is being led by DVDL, a agency of cultural forecasters working with cultural institutions and public spaces around the country. They will team up with WXY Studio, a New York Based design and planning firm. Our community engagement work will be led by Groundwork Jacksonville in their capacity as our city’s nonprofit trust dedicated to creating a more walkable, livable community.”
“Share your vision for Jacksonville’s Riverfront” hosted by duPont Fund and DVDL.
